Cooking for Christmas

My DW and daughter spent much of the week cooking all kinds of great food. I really liked the cookie plates (read display) they set up in the hutch. The food, colors and beadboard texture all go well together.

Here is a picture of a very busy kitchen, which is why we did the remodel...

Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas.

I just ran across your blog from the gardenweb kitchen remodel forum - great job! Whew, that is one busy kitchen. We're embarking on a kitchen remodel sometime this year and I'll be sure to check out our blog for inspiration :)

I really like the diversity of your blog, especially this kitchen in use. It is so important to consider how the family uses the space, appliances and work surfaces in the planning stage of a kitchen remodeling project.

I've just been looking at your daughter's baking display. Please let her know she's ruined my diet; I just had to send out for some lunch! :)

Remodeling busy kitchen is a good idea. With some more supporting pictures, this blog will be more inspiring I think.

you seem to have stopped posting. Is everything OK?

Troy Farwell said...

Yup - everything is fine. I am done with the kitchen and off to other remodeling projects (see the sidebar).

I have been building a workshop - basically a small house - on my property. I need to catch up on my blogging!

Thanks for asking,
TTF

when you have a busy kitchen, the best remodel you can have is by having a lot of space to arrange everything, you seem like having a big kitchen, so a bit of re-organizing will do the job

This is absolutely beautiful. I would love to have a kitchen remodeling like this. I honestly don't know if there are contractors that can do this job near Tempe, AZ, but I am going to have my eyes open for it.

That looks so tasty! We were going to have a big family dinner at our house for Christmas, but we were doing some kitchen remodeling at the time, so we traveled up to my parents in Phoenix. It was some great food. Hope you had great holidays!

Thank you so much for sharing this! I am trying to find a great place that does kitchen remodeling in Oklahoma City. Any recommendations?

We have almost those same green cabinets in Halifax! Those are my favorite part of my kitchen. They add a nice touch. Love the kitchen! It looks great!
