Follow-up on our Pegasus Granite Sink

I get a lot of hits on my blog for info our Pegasus granite sink. After two years, it's still basically as good as new.

There are no stains, it still cleans easily, and the surface finish is fine. I just looked at it closely, and there are no scratches.

I undermounted this sink, attaching it to the granite top with polyurethane glue. It is sealed with epoxy grout - no leaks or problems of any kind.

It is a beautiful sink. I am not suprised about it holding up so well. Granite it one of those things that will break before it shows wear. Great kitchen remodel

The wood and the granite look grate. Is there anything you should do to keep granite looking good and prevent wear.

Great job on your kitchen! After seeing your granite sink, we decided to go with the same.
However we wanted a single bowl and home depot didn't have any we liked.
So we picked up a large single bowl by Franke from Lowes. It can be top mounted or under mounted and has an 8 1/2" deep bowl.
It comes with a single hole for the faucet which is exactly want we wanted, but has knockout areas for three more holes.
It looks awesome with our cherry cabinets and we love it.

I was just wondering, who makes the Pegasus granite sinks? I've read that only Home Depot sells them, but I've seen them for sale on other sites. Some say they are made by Astracast, which has lousy customer service, others say they are made by Blanco. I cannot find any specs. sheet with detailed dimensions or info on faucet holes either. Can anyone help, please?

This sink looks great with a 1.25 granite slab ask your fabricator to cut by the template and looks amazing with a curve back and a front. Because this sink is granite dust mixed with epoxy we can drill a hole anywhere you would like for your faucet.

Two years without any scuffs, scrapes or scratches is a minor miracle. Whatever you're doing to keep that sink looking as fresh as the day you installed it... well... just keep doing it! Are you doing any special 'cleaning strategy' to keep it that nice, or just religious cleaning?

Remodeling your kitchen requires big amount of preparation... starting with budget..how to get good materials, and how to make it easy for you. When it comes to cabinets, it is practical to get RTA Cabinets since installing it is much easier than any type of cabinets.
